AlumiFuel Power Corporation, Inc. Stock Price Moves Up
19 May 2010

AlumiFuel Power Corporation, Inc. (OTC:AFPW) stock price made a sudden move up these days. One of the possible reasons for the price move, could be the recent announcement that AFPW was selected for navy R&D contract award as power source for unmanned undersea vehicles.

Yesterday, AFPW stock price rose with $0.018 and the price change reached 48.65%. The volume jumped over 778 thousand traded shares at market cap of 16.61m, and the EPS pointed -0.03. Still, the chart shows the volume varies a lot and the stock price frequently goes down.

The company’s cash flow report points out that the net income for December, 2009 was 8 times higher that the one for January, 2009, but the operating income was more than $6 thousand. The historical overview of AFPW shows quite different values of volume and price change during the last 3 months.

AlumiFuel Power Corporation, formerly known as Inhibiton Therapeutics, Inc., recently acquired its wholly owned operating subsidiary AlumiFuel Power, Inc. It is an early production stage alternative energy company that generates hydrogen gas and steam for multiple niche applications requiring on-site, on-demand fuel sources. The Company also has been conducting biotechnology research, development and commercialization of products for new cancer therapeutic agents.

In its 10K report, AFPW reported the company has had a history of losses and expects to incur more substantial losses and negative operating cash flow in future. As a result, AlumiFuel Power Corporation, Inc. may not be able to achieve commercialization of any new products and needs to raise additional capital to operate its business. This could result in significant dilution to company’s current shareholders.
