Liberty Energy Corp. (OTC:LBYE) Reports Historical Trading Volume
14 Oct 2010

Liberty Energy Corp. (OTC:LBYE) stock turned into a real volume maker yesterday. The shares reported the highest trading volume in their short nine-month trading history.

After a real fortune has been spent in the last two months on the appreciation of the share price, it seems that the next attack of the stock promoters is accumulating demand again. On the volume of 450,000 shares traded, the share price jump was not an impressive one, especially for a speculative penny stock. LBYE added only 12.2% to its value and closed the session at $0.595 for a share.

However, on all the project updates the company is issuing recently, the increased interest for their stock can hardly be attributed to the market seeing much of potential. After the exploration works on some LBYE’s previous mineral claims did not find out any commercially viable deposits, in its latest report the company states to have acquired some not specified oil and gas properties, again without any established feasibility.

LBYE’s record of paid stock promotions is much more interesting though. The last promotion being on Monday, since the middle of September certain promoters have received over $650,000 for the distribution of advertising materials about LBYE stock, an amount higher than the total assets of the company. Moreover, it is almost twice its total debts.

Nevertheless, at the end of July the company has secured funds for up to $4 million, of course in exchange for its only product that sells: its common stock. Each time an advance is drawn under the agreement, units of shares and warrants will be issued, each unit consisting of one share and one half of a warrant.

Not to take too much of downside risk, the investor has also set a price limit for the units: $0.50 for a unit, a level that the stock has rarely broken since it started trading on the OTC market.
